WHO WE ARE

The Brooklyn College Film Department Alumni Association (BCFAA) is dedicated to creating a network of accomplished Alumni who are willing to provide support for the new generation of Brooklyn College graduates.

WHAT WE DO

We aim to build a bridge between our Alumni and the current Brooklyn College film student body. The BCFAA has created several programs to give successful Alumni the opportunity to help build this bridge:

- BCFAA: Alumni Mixer: An opportunity to strengthen connections among the community of BC Alumni.
-
BCFAA: Social Media Platform: A place to share ideas, post job opportunities, and promote current projects.
-
BCFAA: Internship/Apprenticeship: A way for BC Film alumni to give back by providing access to students who are eager to gain on the job training.
-
BCFAA: Workshop Series: An opportunity for BC Film alumni to engage the undergraduate student body in a focused discussion on a particular aspect of filmmaking.
-
BCFAA: Film Screening Series: A way for BC Film alumni to share and promote the work they are proud of.

We hope to build a sense of camaraderie among the BC Film alumni by facilitating connections, exposure, potential employment, and an opportunity to inspire and support a new generation of Brooklyn College filmmakers.
